Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2-3 years of restaurant management experience
- ability to work various shifts including weekends
- capability to stand and be mobile for up to 10 hours
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- proficiency in reading and writing
- manual dexterity with small tools and equipment
- willingness to perform diverse restaurant tasks
- adherence to company policies and health regulations
Job Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol Certifications are a plus
- strong leadership skills
- excellent problem-solving abilities

- familiarity with restaurant operations and standards
- commitment to guest satisfaction
- basic computer skills
Job Duties
- Ensures timely, friendly service according to company guidelines, achieving established objectives of the unit
- cultivates a culture in accordance with the Flynn Applebee's core values and beliefs
- ensures immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints
- ensures guest contact as a priority with completion of required table visits
- maintains departmental inventory levels
- ensures product preparation and presentation meet company standards by performing line checks
- effectively schedules employees to meet sales demands
- maintains effective safety and security programs
- promotes and leads restaurant organization, cleanliness and sanitation
- performs routine maintenance and reports needed repairs
- promotes quality recruitment and referrals
- supports training procedures for new managers
- maintains trained staff through orientation, training sessions and implementation of policies
- participates in employee development using performance documentation and evaluations
- assesses employee efficiency and provides feedback
- monitors acceptable employee performance and documents disciplinary actions
- assures compliance with company policies and legal regulations
- controls costs in assigned department
- complies with local, state and federal laws
- drives food and liquor inventories as requested
- submits accurate daily paperwork
- assures sanitation standards meet or exceed Health Department standards
- provides a role model for managers and employees
- develops skills on store-related technology
- willing and able to work all positions and assist team members
- uses Management Development Program for leadership skills growth
