Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in leadership role for internal applicants
- Minimum 3 years assistant manager experience for external applicants
- Must be 18 years or older
- Completion of assistant manager training
- ServSafe certification
- Proficient in English communication
- Basic mathematics skills
- Strong interpersonal abilities
- Organizational and planning skills
- Valid driver’s license and insurance
- Ability to use computers and restaurant equipment
- Ability to lift 10-65 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Commitment to ethical behavior and integrity
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required
- Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Internal candidates need minimum 1 year experience as Shift Leader or Assistant Manager
- External candidates need minimum 3 years experience as Assistant Manager with some P&L responsibilities
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Completion of Assistant Manager training classes required
- Must be ServSafe certified
- Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
- Basic math proficiency
- Good organization and planning skills
- Self-starter with initiative
- Working knowledge of personal computers and software
- Valid driver's license and insurance
- Ability to operate restaurant equipment and perform bank deposits
- Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior
Job Duties
- Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
- Monitor staffing levels to ensure sufficient talent and development
- Ensure training systems are implemented and adhered to
- Work with the team to execute 'My Promise to You' and Service Profit Chain
- Create a friendly, fun, clean, and safe restaurant environment
- Manage restaurant operational activities to achieve excellence
- Ensure guests receive exceptional service and food quality
- Maintain visibility and timely response to guest concerns
- Partner with Restaurant Manager to analyze operational and financial performance
- Develop and execute action plans to increase sales and profitability
- Monitor costs and adherence to budget and restaurant goals
- Perform other related duties as assigned
