Job Description

Job Requirements
- At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- serve safe food and serve safe alcohol certifications also a plus
- ability to work various shifts including weekends
- ability to stand and exert mobility for up to ten hours
- ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
- finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment

Job Duties
- Ensure timely, friendly service according to company guidelines
- cultivate a culture aligned with Flynn Applebee's core values
- respond and correct verbal guest complaints immediately
- prioritize guest contact and complete required table visits
- maintain departmental inventory levels
- ensure product preparation and presentation meet company standards
- schedule employees to meet sales demands
- maintain safety and security programs
- promote cleanliness and sanitation
- perform routine maintenance and report needed repairs
- recruit and refer potential team members
- promote training procedures for new managers
- maintain trained staff through orientation and training sessions
- develop employees through one-on-one sessions and evaluations
- assess employee efficiency and provide feedback
- monitor employee performance and document disciplinary actions
- ensure compliance with company policies
- control costs in assigned department
- comply with local, state, and federal laws
- conduct food and liquor inventories as requested
- prepare and submit accurate daily paperwork
- ensure sanitation standards meet health department and company standards
- act as a role model for managers and employees
- develop skills in store-related technology
- work in all positions as needed
- use management development program for continuous leadership growth
