Job Description

Job Requirements

  • At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
  • serve safe food and serve safe alcohol certifications are a plus
  • ability to work various shifts including weekends
  • ability to stand and move for up to 10 hours
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
  • ability to read and write for communication
  • manual dexterity for using small tools and equipment

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
  • Serve Safe Food certification is a plus
  • Serve Safe Alcohol certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Ensures timely, friendly service according to company guidelines
  • cultivates a culture in accordance with Flynn Applebee's Premier Card values
  • ensures immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints
  • ensures guest contact with required table visits
  • maintains departmental inventory levels
  • ensures product preparation and presentation meet company standards
  • effectively schedules employees to meet sales demands
  • maintains effective safety and security programs
  • promotes cleanliness and sanitation
  • performs routine maintenance and reports needed repairs
  • promotes quality recruitment and referrals
  • supports training procedures for new managers
  • helps maintain a trained staff through orientation and training
  • participates in employee development and performance evaluations
  • assesses employee efficiency and provides feedback
  • monitors employee performance and documents disciplinary actions
  • ensures compliance with company policies
  • controls costs in assigned department
  • complies with all laws and regulations
  • drives food and liquor inventories
  • prepares and submits accurate daily paperwork
  • assures sanitation standards meet health requirements
  • provides a role model for staff
  • develops skills on store-related technology
  • works in all positions as needed
