Through their supportive environment and innovative training programs, Panda Express offers opportunities for career advancement and encourages employees to take pride in their work while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The role of Assistant Manager at Panda Express is a pivotal position responsible for supporting the operations of a single store while ensuring optimal performance across various business functions. The Assistant Manager plays a key leadership role, guiding the hiring, training, and management of store associates and cultivating a positive workplace culture that motivates the team toward achieving financial and operational goals. This position involves managing day-to-day store activities, maintaining high standards of food safety, guest service, and operational compliance, and ensuring that every guests’ experience meets Panda Express’s hallmark of quality and hospitality.

Additionally, the company provides a generous compensation package with bonuses and a variety of benefits, including medical, vision, and dental insurance, 401K with company match, paid time off, and opportunities for continuous education and career development. Aspiring Assistant Managers should be prepared to work within a 50-mile radius of a store location, have flexibility to work weekends and varied schedules, and possess proper food safety certification such as Serve Safe.

In this dynamic role, Assistant Managers will face fast-paced challenges within the store environment, requiring effective communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to maintain high performance under pressure. Panda Express fosters an inclusive and equal opportunity workplace where diversity is celebrated and all employees are supported regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, disability status, or other protected characteristics.
