Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Maintain compliance with corporate-mandated training certification requirements
- Maintain a positive, can-do attitude conducive to a 5-star guest experience
- Adhere to all company, federal, state, and local policies and laws particularly regarding food, health, and safety
- Maintain cleanliness and personal appearance standards
- Avoid personal electronic device use while on duty
- Demonstrate teamwork and urgency
- Abide by policies set forth in the company handbook and manuals
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in food service or restaurant management preferred
- ServSafe certification is advantageous
- Strong leadership and team coaching skills
- Excellent guest service and communication abilities
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to operate kitchen machinery safely
- Ability to handle cash and manage transactions accurately
- Proficient in scheduling and staff management
- Demonstrated accountability and positive attitude
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Lead crew members and direct daily restaurant operations in the absence of the General Manager including supervising and training employees, opening and closing the store, ensuring all food preparation is complete, managing employee breaks and shift changes
- Motivate and coach crew members and assist in training new crew members
- Perform all crew member tasks including makeline, cut table, oven monitoring, product packaging, quality check and order accuracy, and guest relations
- Follow Marco's procedures for preparing dough, sauce, and toppings and correctly making all products
- Operate machinery according to safety requirements and legal regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of the store
- Support other employees in completing tasks as a team player
- Assist the General Manager with scheduling, ordering, and team development
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and company policies
- Oversee preventative maintenance of facilities and equipment
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring crew members
- Maintain fast, accurate, and outstanding service to ensure excellent guest experiences
- Complete additional duties as assigned
