Job Requirements

  • 2-4 year of experience in related food service management position preferred
  • High school degree or equivalent preferred
  • Food Manager Certification and/or ServSafe Manager Certificate required
  • Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule based on restaurant needs
  • Ability to travel occasionally for meetings, conferences, and training

Job Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in related food service management position preferred
  • High school degree or equivalent preferred
  • Food Manager Certification and/or ServSafe Manager Certificate required
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Basic knowledge of general business practices
  • Effective English communication skills
  • Basic math skills and computer competency
  • Customer service focused
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
  • Excellent leadership qualities and professionalism

Job Duties

  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of FOH & BOH Team Members
  • Assist and supervise the training and development of FOH & BOH Team Members
  • Uphold food preparation specifics by ensuring standard operational procedures are followed
  • Communicate, train, and educate Team Members and Shift Leaders on all changes or new procedures, processes, products, promotions, or equipment
  • Conduct Succession Planning 1-on-1s with designated Team Members
  • Ensure Team Members comply with safety, sanitation, personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform standards
  • Manage daily operations of a restaurant shift
  • Increase sales by ensuring guest satisfaction and prompt problem resolution
  • Ensure food quality and availability
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stocking in all areas of the restaurant
  • Assist in the development of Team Members
  • Maintain and build sales
  • Conduct and manage inventory
  • Place food orders and process invoices
  • Track and manage labor and food costs to meet goals
  • Assist in the preparation of work schedules
  • Manage daily operations of opening, closing, and mid shifts
  • Maintain restaurant equipment in working order and request repair
  • Maintain food safety, personal safety, and sanitation standards
  • Comply with personal hygiene and uniform standards
  • Monitor labor law adherence
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager
