Job Duties

  • Interview assistant management candidates with Director of Operations
  • Analyze cost controls and sales trends through month-end reports
  • Achieve restaurant budget goals
  • Monitor employee scheduling for labor law compliance
  • Approve salary increases for restaurant employees
  • Enforce cash control procedures
  • Implement local promotions and marketing plans
  • Monitor sales projections and budget versus actual sales
  • Recommend local marketing plans to resolve sales shortfalls
  • Maintain continuity with media messages and marketing efforts
  • Ensure assistant managers attend formal training programs
  • Utilize crew growth ladder for certified positions
  • Monitor crew training practices
  • Develop managers using personal development plans
  • Set monthly development objectives with managers
