Job Description

Job Requirements
- At least high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- Ability to work various shifts including weekends
- Capacity to stand and move for up to 10 hours per shift
- Capability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
- Willingness to work in multiple restaurant positions
- Commitment to comply with company policies and legal regulations
Job Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- Experience in handling guest services and team leadership
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to manage employee performance and development
- Strong problem-solving and stress management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to schedule and manage staff effectively
- Proficient with restaurant operational technology
- Commitment to company core values and culture
- Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol Certifications a plus
Job Duties
- Ensure timely, friendly service according to company guidelines, achieving established objectives of the unit
- Cultivate a culture in accordance with Flynn Applebee's core values and beliefs
- Respond immediately and correct all verbal guest complaints to self and staff
- Prioritize guest contact with required table visits as per company standards
- Maintain departmental inventory levels
- Ensure product preparation and presentation meet company standards through line checks
- Schedule employees effectively to meet sales demands
- Maintain safety and security programs
- Promote and lead restaurant cleanliness and sanitation
- Perform routine maintenance and report needed repairs to General Manager or Area Director
- Promote quality recruitment and referrals of team members and management candidates
- Implement Flynn Applebee's training procedures for new managers
- Maintain a trained staff through orientation, training sessions, and meetings
- Participate in employee development using One-on-One and performance documentation
- Assess employee efficiency and provide regular feedback
- Monitor employee performance and document disciplinary actions
- Assure compliance with company policies, practices, and procedures
- Control costs in assigned department
- Comply with local, state, and federal laws
- Conduct bi-weekly or weekly food and liquor inventories as requested
- Prepare and submit accurate daily paperwork
- Ensure sanitation standards meet or exceed Health Department and company standards
- Provide a role model for managers and employees
- Develop proficiency with store-related technology
- Work in all positions and assist team members as needed
- Use Management Development Program for continuous leadership growth
