Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous restaurant supervisory, management, or leadership experience
- Food Handler certification strongly preferred
- Must have flexible and open availability
- Ability to communicate clearly with managers, staff, and guests
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Sheets
- Ability to handle money and Point-of-Sale systems
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work approximately 48-60 hours per week including nights and weekends
- Ability to travel to different locations as needed
- Strong organizational and leadership skills

- Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and dining room staff and guests
- Understand management bonus structure and how your decisions and actions affect it
- Proficient at FOH set-up and server sectioning
- Proficient at server checkouts and money handling
- Proficient at Point-of- Sale systems
- Previous restaurant supervisory, management, or leadership experience
- Food Handler certification, strongly preferred
- Must have flexible and open availability
- Ability to direct, support, and drive excellence
- Ability to maintain all kitchen standards
- Highly motivated and organized
Job Duties
- Manage all aspects of the restaurant to meet Hemingway's Tavern standards
- Estimate food consumption, place orders with suppliers, and schedule delivery of fresh food and beverages
- Resolve customer complaints about food quality or service
- Direct cleaning of kitchen and dining areas to maintain sanitation standards and keep appropriate records
- Monitor actions of staff and guests to ensure that health and safety standards and liquor regulations are obeyed
- Maintain budget and staff records, prepare payroll, and pay bills, or monitor bookkeeping records
- Use computer software to monitor inventory, track staff schedules and pay, and perform other record keeping tasks
