Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite)
  • Experience working as a Member Service Representative at Planet Fitness
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Solid supervisory, diplomacy and listening skills
  • Strong problem resolution skills
  • Hard working, enthusiastic and energetic

Job Duties

  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing a high performing staff
  • Assist in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all members, prospective members and guests
  • Assist with staff management and provide backup support to Club Manager as needed
  • Assist in scheduling and supervising staff
  • Ensure staff follows superior customer service guidelines
  • Participate in front desk activities like answering phones, checking in members, new member sign-up, club tours and handling member requests
  • Assist in overseeing cleanliness and maintenance of facility
  • Assist in ordering of supplies using specific budget
  • Assist in tracking club statistics and reports
  • Provide backup support for absent employees
