Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2-3 years of restaurant management experience
  • ability to work various shifts including weekends
  • physical ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
  • excellent communication skills
  • finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment
  • commitment to upholding company policies and standards

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
  • knowledge of food safety and alcohol service certifications preferred

Job Duties

  • Ensures timely, friendly service according to company guidelines, achieving established objectives of the unit
  • cultivates a culture in accordance with Flynn Applebee's core values
  • ensures immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints
  • ensures guest contact as a priority with required table visits
  • maintains departmental inventory levels
  • ensures product preparation and presentation meet company standards by performing line checks
  • effectively schedules employees to meet sales demands
  • maintains safety and security programs
  • promotes and leads restaurant organization, cleanliness and sanitation
  • performs routine maintenance and reports needed repairs
  • promotes quality recruitment and referrals of potential team members
  • supports training procedures for new managers
  • maintains a trained staff through orientation, training, and meetings
  • participates in employee development and performance evaluations
  • assesses employee efficiency and provides feedback
  • monitors employee performance and documents disciplinary actions
  • assures compliance with company policies
  • controls departmental costs
  • complies with local, state, and federal laws and guidelines
  • drives food and liquor inventories and ensures completion
  • prepares and submits accurate daily paperwork
  • assures sanitation standards meet or exceed Health Department requirements
  • provides role model leadership
