Job Requirements

  • Two or more years of restaurant experience including progressive supervisory experience
  • legally able to work within State and Federal guidelines
  • ability to stand and walk continuously during shifts
  • ability to bend, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds
  • capability to engage in constant face-to-face interactions
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to multi-task and maintain a positive attitude under stress
  • flexibility with shift times including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • compliance with uniform and personal hygiene standards

Job Qualifications

  • Two or more years of restaurant experience including progressive supervisory experience
  • successful completion of Cafe Basics, Certified Trainer, and Crew Leader Training Programs
  • ability to lead and motivate a team
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • proficiency with inventory management tools
  • strong customer service orientation

Job Duties

  • Interact with crew members, customers, and vendors using "Tropitude"
  • assume General Manager responsibilities in their absence
  • deliver unparalleled hospitality to each customer
  • be knowledgeable and proficient in Crew and Crew Leader positions
  • complete Cafe Basics, Certified Trainer, and Crew Leader Training Programs
  • assist in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training new crew members and leaders
  • manage and delegate daily cafe functions including prepping product, making food and smoothies, serving customers, and cleaning
  • oversee ordering, inventory, and invoice reconciliation
  • hit sales goals, manage labor, and control inventory using MyInventory
  • ensure sanitation practices in food handling and preparation
  • enforce safety and security policies
  • provide ongoing training to maintain brand standards
  • perform additional tasks necessary to run the cafe
