Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- ability to work varied shifts including weekends
- physical ability to stand and move for up to 10 hours
- able to lift up to 50 pounds safely
- strong communication skills
- leadership capability
- problem-solving skills
- willingness to work in multiple restaurant roles as needed
- Serve Safe Food and Alcohol Certifications preferred

Job Duties
- Ensure timely, friendly service according to company guidelines
- cultivate a culture in accordance with Flynn Applebee's core values
- immediately address and correct all verbal guest complaints
- prioritize guest contact with required table visits
- maintain departmental inventory levels
- ensure product preparation and presentation meet company standards by performing line checks
- effectively schedule employees to meet sales demands
- maintain effective safety and security programs
- promote and lead restaurant organization, cleanliness, and sanitation
- perform routine maintenance and report needed repairs
- promote quality recruitment and referrals of potential team members and management candidates
- promote Flynn Applebee's training procedures for new managers
- maintain trained staff through orientation, individual training, employee meetings, and policy implementation
- participate in employee development through performance documentation and evaluations
- assess employee efficiency and provide regular feedback
- monitor employee performance and document disciplinary actions
- assure compliance with company policies and procedures
- control costs in assigned department
- comply with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
- conduct bi-weekly or weekly food and liquor inventories
- prepare and submit accurate daily paperwork
- assure sanitation standards meet or exceed Health Department standards
- provide a role model for managers and employees
- develop proficiency in store-related technology
- assist in all restaurant positions as needed
- use Management Development Program for continuous leadership growth
