Job Description

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2-3 years of restaurant management experience
  • Ability to work various shifts including weekends
  • Ability to stand and move for up to 10 hours
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
  • Effective communication skills
  • Willingness to work in multiple positions as needed
  • Commitment to company core values
  • Must comply with local, state, and federal laws and regulations

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
  • Serve Safe Food certification is a plus
  • Serve Safe Alcohol certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Ensure timely, friendly service according to company guidelines
  • Cultivate a culture in line with Flynn Applebee's core values
  • Respond promptly to verbal guest complaints
  • Complete required guest table visits
  • Maintain departmental inventory levels
  • Perform product preparation and presentation line checks
  • Schedule employees effectively to meet sales demands
  • Maintain safety and security programs
  • Promote restaurant cleanliness and sanitation
  • Report maintenance needs promptly
  • Recruit and refer potential team members and management candidates
  • Implement training procedures for new managers
  • Conduct employee training, meetings, and policy implementation
  • Develop employees using one-on-one sessions and performance documentation
  • Provide regular feedback and work on employee development
  • Monitor employee performance and document disciplinary actions
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations
  • Control costs in assigned department
  • Conduct bi-weekly/weekly food and liquor inventories
  • Prepare and submit accurate daily paperwork
  • Maintain sanitation standards
  • Serve as a role model for managers and employees
  • Develop knowledge of store-related technology
  • Work in all positions as needed including cooking, expo, seating, and bartending
  • Utilize Management Development Program for leadership growth
