Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or retail management preferred
- ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- stand for extended periods
- excellent communication skills
- strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- current or ability to obtain ServSafe Food Handler's certificate
- basic math and cash handling proficiency

Job Duties
- maintains shift flow by delegating tasks such as cleaning, stocking, prepping and ensuring staff focus on customer support and sales
- communicates all staff difficulties, triumphs, and feedback to the Store Manager
- remains knowledgeable and educates staff and customers on current product offerings including beans, drinks, food, and merchandise
- follows manager directives and supports team members to anticipate needs and ensure smooth operations while upholding product and service standards
- adheres to company policies including cash handling, product standards, facility maintenance, and hospitality best practices
- stays abreast of staff scheduling needs and keeps staffing levels within budget
- aids in hiring and recruitment endeavors including leading interviews
- maintains safe cash drawers, cashier turn-ins, and deposits according to procedures
- conducts monthly inventory as assigned
- strives for high standards in products, customer interaction, attitude, and leadership
- sets the tone for the team by practicing and upholding a positive, solution-oriented attitude
- understands and exemplifies training and quality standards
- personifies the hospitality standard expected by Sightglass
- ensures adherence to dress code and health and safety requirements
