Job Description
Flynn Group entered the Panera Bread system in 2015 with the acquisition of 47 cafes and has since grown to become the second largest Panera franchisee globally. Job Requirements
- Must have at least 2-3 years of hospitality management experience
- Prefer degree or equivalent in hospitality or hotel/restaurant management
- Food management certification preferred
- Ability to handle a fast-paced, high-demand restaurant environment
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage and coach a team
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand and exert mobility for up to 10 hours
- Must be able to read and write to facilitate communication
- Must possess finger and hand dexterity for equipment use
- Must have a stable employment track record
Job Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years of hospitality management experience
- Degree or equivalent experience in hospitality or hotel/restaurant management is preferred
- Food management certifications are a plus
- Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage budgets and labor efficiently
- Experience with training and development of team members
Job Duties
- Taking responsibility for overall business performance including ordering, scheduling, labor management, marketing, facilities management, bakery operations, and catering
- Analyzing and planning restaurant sales levels and profitability
- Creating and executing plans for sustained profitability
- Acting as the primary conduit of information between associates and management
- Retaining and developing team members and managers
- Managing budgets and controlling costs
- Coordinating restaurant operations during scheduled shifts
- Greeting customers and ensuring satisfaction through table visits
- Inspiring associates to be authentic and productive
- Coaching and mentoring through one-on-ones, performance documentation, and reviews
- Anticipating problems and taking preventative action
- Serving as primary resource for associate questions
- Ensuring associates are trained and competent in all food service and customer support aspects
- Recruiting and training staff to meet staffing par levels
- Ensuring objectives are achieved within company guidelines and ethical standards
- Exemplifying a professional image and promoting company values
