Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • high school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
  • minimum 1+ years as Shift Leader or 1 year as Assistant Manager for internal promote
  • minimum 3 years as Assistant Manager with P&L responsibility for external recruit
  • 100% certified in all workstations for internal promotions
  • complete Assistant Manager training classes
  • ServSafe certified
  • valid driver's license and insurance
  • ability to lift 10-65 lbs
  • ability to stand and walk 85-95% of shift
  • good communication skills
  • ability to operate restaurant equipment and computers
  • able to travel to other restaurant/business locations
  • demonstrate integrity and ethical behavior

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required
  • associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • minimum 1+ years experience as a Shift Leader or 1 year as Assistant Manager for internal promotions
  • minimum 3 years experience as Assistant Manager with some P&L responsibility for external recruits
  • must be 100% certified in all workstations for internal promotion
  • must complete Assistant Manager training classes
  • must be ServSafe certified
  • ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • ability to perform basic math
  • proven analytical skills
  • good organization and planning skills
  • self-starter with initiative
  • working knowledge of personal computers and software applications
  • valid driver’s license and insurance

Job Duties

  • Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
  • monitor staffing levels and ensure proper training
  • identify and develop internal candidates for leadership positions
  • ensure effective execution of Service Profit Chain and brand promise
  • create a friendly, fun, clean, and safe restaurant environment
  • motivate and inspire employees to achieve high performance
  • recognize and reward employees appropriately
  • comply with labor laws and regulations
  • manage daily restaurant operations to achieve excellence
  • ensure exceptional guest service and food quality
  • monitor adherence to company systems, procedures, and food safety requirements
  • handle guest concerns and complaints with professionalism
  • maintain positive brand image through consistent quality and cleanliness
  • analyze operational and financial performance reports
  • partner with management to implement action plans for improvement
  • develop and execute strategies to increase sales and profitability
  • monitor costs and adherence to budgets and goals
