Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years restaurant management experience
  • Ability to work various shifts including weekends
  • Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 10 hours
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to read and write effectively
  • Finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment
  • Serve Safe Food and Alcohol Certifications preferred

  • At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
  • Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol Certifications a plus

Job Duties

  • Ensure timely, friendly service according to company guidelines
  • Cultivate a culture in accordance with Flynn Applebee's core values and beliefs
  • Respond immediately and correct all verbal guest complaints
  • Prioritize guest contact with required table visits
  • Maintain departmental inventory levels
  • Ensure product preparation and presentation meet company standards by performing line checks
  • Schedule employees effectively to meet sales demands
  • Maintain safety and security programs
  • Promote restaurant organization, cleanliness, and sanitation
  • Perform routine maintenance and report needed repairs
  • Recruit and refer potential team member and management candidates
  • Promote and lead training procedures for new managers
  • Maintain trained staff through orientation, training sessions, and employee meetings
  • Develop employees using performance documentation and evaluations
  • Assess employee efficiency and provide regular feedback
  • Monitor acceptable employee performance and document disciplinary situations
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Control costs in assigned department
  • Comply with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
  • Conduct food and liquor inventories as requested
  • Prepare and submit accurate daily paperwork
  • Maintain sanitation standards to meet or exceed Health Department standards
  • Provide a role model for managers and employees
  • Develop self on all store-related technology
  • Work in all positions and assist in team member roles as needed
  • Use Management Development Program for leadership growth
