Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- must be able to work various shifts including weekends
- ability to stand and exert mobility for up to ten hours
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
- good reading and writing skills
- finger and hand dexterity for use of small tools and equipment
- Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol certifications are a plus

- ability to handle stressful situations effectively
- commitment to delivering excellent guest service
- familiarity with food safety practices
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends

Job Duties
- Ensures timely, friendly service according to company guidelines, achieving established objectives of the unit
- cultivates a culture in accordance with Flynn Applebee's core values and beliefs
- ensures immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints to self and staff
- ensures guest contact with completion of required table visits
- maintains departmental inventory levels
- ensures product preparation and presentation meet company standards by performing line checks
- effectively schedules employees to meet sales demands
- maintains effective safety and security programs
- promotes and leads restaurant organization, cleanliness and sanitation
- performs routine maintenance and reports needed repairs
- promotes quality recruitment and referrals of potential team members and management candidates
- promotes Flynn Applebee's training procedures for new managers
- helps maintain a trained staff through orientation, training sessions, employee meetings and implementation of company policy and training systems
- participates in employee development using one-on-one and performance documentation
- assesses employee efficiency, provides fair feedback, and works on areas of development
- monitors employee performance and documents disciplinary situations
- assures compliance with company policies, practices and procedures
- controls cost in assigned department
- complies with local, state and federal laws, regulations and guidelines
- drives bi-weekly or weekly food and liquor inventories at AD/GM's request
- prepares and submits accurate daily paperwork
- assures sanitation standards meet or exceed Health Department and Flynn Applebee's standards
- provides a role model for managers and employees
- develops self on all store related technology
- works in all positions and assists in team member positions as needed
- uses Management Development Program for leadership growth
