Job Description

Job Requirements
- Work various shifts including weekends
- stand and exert mobility for up to ten hours
- safely lift up to 50 pounds
- read and write to facilitate communication
- possess finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment
Job Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol certifications a plus
Job Duties
- Ensures timely, friendly service according to company guidelines, achieving established objectives of the unit
- cultivates a culture in accordance with the Flynn Applebee's Premier Card of core values and beliefs
- ensures the immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints
- ensures guest contact as a priority with required table visits
- maintains departmental inventory levels
- ensures product preparation and presentation meet company standards by performing line checks
- effectively schedules employees to meet sales demands
- maintains effective safety and security programs
- promotes and leads restaurant organization, cleanliness and sanitation
- performs routine maintenance and reports needed repairs
- promotes quality recruitment and referrals of potential team members and management candidates
- promotes Flynn | Applebee's training procedures for new managers
- helps maintain a trained staff through orientation, training sessions, employee meetings and policy implementation
- participates in employee development and performance documentation
- assesses employee efficiency and provides fair feedback
- monitors employee performance and documents disciplinary situations
- assures compliance with company policies and practices
- controls costs in assigned departments
- ensures compliance with local, state and federal laws and regulations
- drives bi-weekly and weekly food and liquor inventories when requested
- prepares and submits accurate daily paperwork
- assures sanitation standards meet or exceed health department requirements
- provides a role model for managers and employees
- develops skills on store related technology
- willing and able to work in various restaurant positions as needed
- uses Management Development Program for continuous leadership growth
