Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old and authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to work standing for up to 10 hours, reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must have physical stamina to work 45 to 55 hours per week
  • Desire to take ownership of shifts and empower team members
  • Thrives in fast-paced, people-focused environments

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of restaurant-related experience in hourly or managerial roles
  • Basic math skills and ability to operate a Point of Sale system and conduct cash management
  • Proven leadership experience as a Supervisor or Manager
  • Confidence in front-of-house or heart-of-house operations with willingness to develop skills in both areas
  • Strong communication skills with a passion for coaching others
  • Growth mindset and eagerness to advance leadership capabilities
  • Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification
  • Ability to understand and communicate in the predominant language(s) of the restaurant trade area

Job Duties

  • Become a Snooze expert by knowing the company history, vendors, products, and locations
  • Understand and comply with all Snooze policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and expectations
  • Ensure all guests feel welcome and receive responsive, friendly, courteous, and exceptional service
  • Maintain expert knowledge of Snooze's recipes and Food & Beverage Doctrine to ensure consistent preparation and presentation
  • Monitor food and beverage quality throughout shifts ensuring taste, presentation, and temperature standards are met
  • Execute daily systems and checklists to maintain safety, sanitation, and recipe adherence
  • Oversee operations including ordering, scheduling, inventory control, and hiring to ensure smooth restaurant functions
  • Manage Point of Sale system for administering discounts and cash control following company procedures
  • Resolve escalated guest concerns promptly, kindly, and professionally
  • Communicate shift updates and Snooze initiatives to hourly Snoozers through written and verbal means
  • Manage service flow during shifts to ensure exceptional experiences for guests and staff, while achieving operational goals
  • Monitor and evaluate Snoozer performance and lead coaching conversations related to guest experience and food quality
  • Open and close the restaurant according to procedure
  • Conduct and schedule hourly Snoozer training and support cross-training development
  • Inspect and maintain equipment cleanliness and functionality through regular preventative maintenance
  • Operate with integrity and leadership presence in line with Snooze Leadership Principles
  • Support local marketing initiatives, catering, and after-hours events onsite and offsite
  • Assist in leading shifts focusing on FOH or HOH while maintaining flexibility across restaurant areas
  • Model roles and facilitate Snoozers' proficiency in various hourly positions
  • Participate in annual Snoozer Check-Ins
  • Foster a fun, safe, and rewarding work environment
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, labor, and food handling regulations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to meet business and operational needs
