Job Requirements

  • High school diploma GED or equivalent
  • minimum 1+ years experience as shift leader or 1 year experience as assistant manager internal promotion
  • minimum 3 years experience as assistant manager external recruit
  • ServSafe certification
  • must be at least 18 years old
  • must complete assistant manager training classes
  • valid driver's license and insurance
  • ability to speak read and write effectively in English
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • ability to perform basic math operations
  • proven analytical skills
  • good organizational and planning skills
  • ability to stand and walk 85-95% of shift
  • ability to lift and carry 10-65 lbs
  • ability to operate restaurant equipment and computer
  • ability to drive a motor vehicle

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma GED or equivalent required
  • associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • minimum of 1+ years experience as a shift leader or 1 year experience as assistant manager in customer service environment for internal promotion
  • minimum of 3 years experience as assistant manager with some P&L responsibility for external recruits
  • must be 100% certified in all workstations
  • must complete Assistant Manager training classes
  • must be ServSafe certified
  • ability to speak read and write effectively in English
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • ability to perform and understand basic math concepts
  • proven analytical skills
  • good organization and planning skills
  • self-starter who takes initiative and accepts responsibility
  • working knowledge of personal computers and related software applications
  • valid driver's license and insurance

Job Duties

  • Recruits selects trains develops and evaluates restaurant employees
  • monitors staffing levels to ensure sufficient development and talent
  • ensures systems for training employees on workstations are fully implemented and adhered to
  • identifies and develops internal candidates for management and team leader positions
  • works with restaurant team to ensure effective execution of the Service Profit Chain and brand promise
  • creates a restaurant environment that is friendly fun clean and safe
  • treats all employees with care and respect
  • motivates and inspires employees to achieve high performance while adhering to company procedures
  • recognizes and rewards employees appropriately
  • manages daily activities to achieve excellence in restaurant operational performance
  • ensures guests receive exceptional experience by properly training employees and holding team accountable for delivering excellent guest service and food quality
  • monitors adherence with all systems food safety requirements and modifies practices to improve guest experience
  • maintains visibility and interaction with guests responds to guest concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner and ensures positive resolution
  • serves as a role model for excellent guest service
  • partners with Restaurant Manager in analyzing operational and financial performance
  • identifies trends and consults on action plans for improvement
  • develops and executes action plans to increase sales and profitability
  • monitors costs and adherence to budget and goals
