Job Requirements
- Minimum of two to three years restaurant management experience
- Ability to work various shifts including weekends
- Ability to stand and move for up to ten hours
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
- Strong communication skills including reading and writing
- Dexterity to use small tools and equipment
- Willingness to perform various restaurant positions including cooking bartending and seating guests
- Compliance with all company policies and local state federal regulations
- Serve Safe Food and Alcohol Certifications preferred
Job Qualifications

- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills

- Basic computer and technology skills related to store operations
Job Duties
- Ensure timely friendly service according to company guidelines achieving established objectives
- Cultivate a culture in accordance with Flynn Applebee's core values and beliefs
- Respond immediately and correct all verbal guest complaints to self and staff
- Ensure guest contact priority with completion of required table visits
- Maintain departmental inventory levels
- Ensure product preparation and presentation meet company standards by performing line checks
- Schedule employees effectively to meet sales demands
- Maintain effective safety and security programs
- Promote and lead restaurant organization cleanliness and sanitation
- Perform routine maintenance and report needed repairs
- Promote recruitment and referrals of potential team members and management candidates
- Promote Flynn Applebee's training procedures for new managers
- Maintain a trained staff through orientation training sessions employee meetings and company policy implementation
- Participate in employee development using one-on-one performance documentation and evaluations
- Assess employee efficiency provide fair feedback and support employee development
- Monitor employee performance and document disciplinary actions
- Assure compliance with company policies practices and procedures
- Control cost in assigned department
- Comply with local state and federal laws regulations and guidelines
- Conduct bi-weekly or weekly food and liquor inventories as requested and ensure completion
- Prepare and submit accurate daily paperwork
- Ensure sanitation standards meet or exceed Health Department and company standards
- Provide a role model for managers and employees
- Develop self on all store related technology
- Work in all positions and assist as a team member as needed
- Use Management Development Program for leadership growth
