Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of restaurant management experience
- ability to work various shifts including weekends
- ability to stand and move for up to 10 hours
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
- strong communication skills
- must be willing to work in all restaurant positions as needed
- compliance with local, state and federal health and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol Certifications are a plus
- strong leadership and team management skills
- excellent problem-solving and communication abilities

Job Duties
- Ensures timely, friendly service according to company guidelines, achieving established objectives of the unit
- cultivates a culture in accordance with Flynn Applebee's core values and beliefs
- ensures immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints to self and staff
- ensures guest contact as a priority with completion of required table visits
- maintains departmental inventory levels
- ensures product preparation and presentation meet company standards by performing line checks
- effectively schedules employees to meet sales demands
- maintains effective safety and security programs
- promotes and leads restaurant organization, cleanliness and sanitation
- performs routine maintenance and reports needed repairs to General Manager or Area Director
- promotes quality recruitment and referrals of potential team members and management candidates
- promotes Flynn Applebee’s training procedures for new managers
- helps maintain a trained staff through employment orientation, individual training sessions, employee meetings and policy implementation
- participates in employee development using one-on-one and performance documentation
- assesses employee efficiency and provides regular feedback
- monitors acceptable employee performance and documents areas requiring disciplinary or corrective action
- assures compliance with company policies, practices and procedures
- controls cost in assigned department
- complies with local, state and federal laws, regulations and guidelines
- drives bi-weekly/weekly food and liquor inventories and is accountable for completion
- prepares and submits accurate daily paperwork
- assures sanitation standards meet or exceed Health Department and company standards
- provides role model for managers and employees
- develops self on all store related technology
- works in all positions as needed including cooking, expo, seating guests, bartending
- uses Management Development Program for continuous leadership growth
