Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- ability to work various shifts including weekends
- physical capability to stand and move for up to 10 hours
- ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
- strong reading, writing, and communication skills
- finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment
- Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol Certifications preferred
- ability to handle stressful situations and resolve conflicts
- willingness to learn and develop leadership skills
- availability to work in different restaurant positions as needed

Job Duties
- Ensure timely and friendly service according to company guidelines
- cultivate a culture based on Flynn Applebee's core values
- respond and correct all verbal guest complaints immediately
- prioritize guest contact with required table visits
- maintain departmental inventory levels
- ensure product preparation and presentation meet company standards
- schedule employees to meet sales demand
- maintain effective safety and security programs
- promote restaurant organization, cleanliness, and sanitation
- perform routine maintenance and report needed repairs
- promote quality recruitment and referrals
- implement Flynn Applebee's training procedures for new managers
- maintain a trained staff through orientation and ongoing training
- participate in employee development and performance documentation
- assess and provide feedback on employee efficiency
- monitor employee performance and document disciplinary actions
- ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- control costs in the assigned department
- comply with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
- conduct bi-weekly or weekly food and liquor inventories as requested
- prepare and submit accurate daily paperwork
- assure sanitation standards meet Health Department requirements
- provide a role model for managers and employees
- develop proficiency in store-related technology
- work in all positions and assist team members as needed
- use the Management Development Program for continuous leadership growth
