Job Requirements

  • At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
  • Serve Safe Food certification preferred
  • Serve Safe Alcohol certification preferred
  • Ability to work various shifts including weekends
  • Ability to stand and exert mobility for up to ten hours
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to read and write for communication
  • Possess finger and hand dexterity for using tools and equipment

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Ensure timely, friendly service according to company guidelines
  • Cultivate a culture in line with Flynn Applebee's core values
  • Respond and correct all verbal guest complaints promptly
  • Prioritize guest contact with required table visits
  • Maintain departmental inventory levels
  • Ensure product preparation and presentation meet company standards
  • Schedule employees to meet sales demands
  • Maintain safety and security programs
  • Promote cleanliness and sanitation
  • Perform routine maintenance and report repairs
  • Recruit and refer potential team members and management candidates
  • Implement training procedures for new managers
  • Maintain a trained staff through orientation and training sessions
  • Develop employees through One-on-One meetings and performance documentation
  • Assess employee efficiency and provide regular feedback
  • Monitor employee performance and document disciplinary actions
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Control costs in assigned departments
  • Comply with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
  • Conduct bi-weekly or weekly food and liquor inventories
  • Prepare and submit accurate daily paperwork
  • Assure sanitation standards meet Health Department and company standards
  • Provide a role model for managers and employees
  • Develop self in store-related technology
  • Work in all positions and assist as needed
  • Use Management Development Program for continuous leadership growth
