Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in restaurant supervision or management

Job Duties

  • Monitor staffing levels
  • recruit and select employees to talent and job profiles
  • train, develop, coach, and evaluate employee performance
  • ensure systems for training employees are fully implemented and followed
  • assign activities and tasks
  • identify and develop internal candidates for management and team leader positions
  • treat employees with respect and dignity
  • regularly recognize and reward employees
  • comply with all state and federal labor laws and regulations
  • manage daily activities to achieve excellence in restaurant operational performance
  • hold restaurant team accountable for consistently delivering excellent guest service and food quality in adherence with brand systems, procedures, and food safety requirements
  • review practices and modify as needed to continuously improve the guest experience
  • interact with guests and the community
  • respond to guest questions, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner to ensure positive resolution and guest recovery
  • maintain brand image by ensuring restaurant cleanliness, maintenance, and excellent service
  • partner with the restaurant manager in using management information tools to analyze restaurant operational and financial performance
  • identify trends and implement action plans for improvement
  • focus efforts on developing long term sales growth initiatives designed to drive profitable sales growth
  • consider cost-benefit impact of financial decisions and work to protect the brand
  • monitor costs and adherence to budget and restaurant goals
