Job Description

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- proven experience in restaurant management for at least 2 years
- ability to work various shifts including weekends
- physical ability to stand and move for up to 10 hours
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
- strong communication and writing skills
- willingness to work in multiple roles within the restaurant
- Serve Safe Food and Alcohol certifications preferred
- adherence to all health and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years of restaurant management experience
- Serve Safe Food certification is a plus
- Serve Safe Alcohol certification is a plus
- strong leadership and problem-solving skills

Job Duties
- Ensure timely and friendly service according to company guidelines
- cultivate a culture aligned with Flynn Applebee's core values
- respond promptly to and correct all verbal guest complaints
- prioritize guest contact with required table visits
- maintain departmental inventory levels
- ensure product preparation and presentation meet company standards
- effectively schedule employees to meet sales demands
- maintain safety and security programs
- promote cleanliness and sanitation
- perform routine maintenance and report needed repairs
- promote quality recruitment and referrals
- support training procedures for new managers
- maintain trained staff through orientation and training
- develop staff through one-on-one and performance documentation
- assess employee efficiency and provide feedback
- monitor employee performance and document disciplinary needs
- assure compliance with company policies
- control costs in assigned departments
- comply with local, state, and federal laws
- conduct food and liquor inventories as requested
- prepare and submit accurate daily paperwork
- ensure sanitation standards meet or exceed requirements
- provide role modeling for staff
- develop skills on store technology
- work in various restaurant positions as needed
- engage in continuous leadership development
