Job Description

Job Requirements
- At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- Ability to work various shifts, including weekends
- Physical capability to stand and move for up to 10 hours
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to read and write effectively
- Finger and hand dexterity to use small tools and equipment

- Serve Safe Food certification preferred
- Serve Safe Alcohol certification preferred
Job Duties
- Ensures timely, friendly service according to company guidelines, achieving established objectives of the unit
- Cultivates a culture in accordance with Flynn Applebee's core values and beliefs
- Responds promptly and effectively to all verbal guest complaints
- Ensures guest contact as a priority through required table visits
- Maintains departmental inventory levels
- Oversees product preparation and presentation to meet company standards
- Schedules employees effectively to meet sales demands
- Maintains safety and security programs
- Promotes restaurant organization, cleanliness, and sanitation
- Performs routine maintenance and reports needed repairs
- Promotes quality recruitment and referrals of team and management candidates
- Implements Flynn Applebee's training procedures for new managers
- Maintains trained staff through orientation, training, meetings, and policy implementation
- Develops employees via one-on-one sessions, performance documentation, and evaluations
- Assesses and provides feedback on employee performance
- Documents disciplinary or corrective action situations
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures
- Controls costs in assigned departments
- Complies with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
- Drives food and liquor inventories
- Prepares and submits accurate daily paperwork
- Ensures sanitation standards meet health department requirements
- Serves as role model for managers and employees
- Develops skills in store-related technology
- Works in all restaurant positions as needed
- Utilizes Management Development Program for leadership growth
