Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 to 3 years of restaurant management experience
Ability to work various shifts including weekends
Capability to stand and be mobile for up to 10 hours
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
Effective communication skills including reading and writing
Finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment

Job Qualifications

At least 2 to 3 years of restaurant management experience
Serve Safe Food certification is a plus
Serve Safe Alcohol certification is a plus

Job Duties

Ensure timely, friendly service according to company guidelines, achieving established objectives
Cultivate a culture aligned with Flynn Applebee's core values
Respond immediately and correct all verbal guest complaints
Prioritize guest contact including required table visits
Maintain departmental inventory levels
Ensure product preparation and presentation meet company standards
Effectively schedule employees to meet sales demands
Maintain effective safety and security programs
Promote and lead restaurant organization, cleanliness, and sanitation
Perform routine maintenance and report needed repairs
Promote recruitment and referrals of potential team members and managers
Promote Flynn Applebee's training procedures for new managers
Maintain a trained staff through orientation, training sessions, and employee meetings
Develop employees using one-on-one coaching and performance documentation
Provide fair feedback and work on employee development
Monitor employee performance and document issues for corrective action
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Control costs in assigned department
Comply with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
Drive food and liquor inventories and ensure accountability
Prepare and submit accurate daily paperwork
Assure sanitation standards meet or exceed Health Department standards
Provide a role model for managers and employees
Develop skills on store related technology
Work in all team member positions as needed
Use Management Development Program for leadership growth
