Job Requirements
- At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol certifications preferred
- Ability to work various shifts including weekends
- Ability to stand and move for up to 10 hours
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
- Ability to read and write for communication
- Finger and hand dexterity for using tools and equipment
Job Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years of restaurant management experience
- Serve Safe Food certification is a plus
- Serve Safe Alcohol certification is a plus
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Ability to train and develop employees
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to manage inventory and control costs
- Experience with scheduling and staff management
Job Duties
- Ensure timely, friendly service according to company guidelines
- Cultivate a culture reflecting Flynn Applebee's core values
- Address and resolve verbal guest complaints promptly
- Prioritize guest contact with standard table visits
- Maintain departmental inventory levels
- Ensure food preparation and presentation meet company standards
- Schedule employees effectively to meet sales demands
- Maintain safety and security programs
- Promote restaurant cleanliness and sanitation
- Perform routine maintenance and report repairs
- Recruit and refer potential team members
- Support training procedures for new managers
- Conduct employee training and orientation
- Participate in employee development and performance documentation
- Provide regular, fair feedback to employees
- Monitor performance and document disciplinary actions
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations
- Control costs in assigned departments
- Perform food and liquor inventories
- Submit accurate daily paperwork
- Maintain sanitation standards
- Serve as a role model for staff
- Develop personal skills in store-related technology
- Work in all restaurant positions as needed
- Use Management Development Program for leadership growth
