Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- availability to work various shifts including weekends
- ability to stand and exert physical mobility for up to 10 hours
- ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to read and write for communication purposes
- finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment
- Serve Safe Food and Alcohol certifications are a plus
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Ensures timely, friendly service according to company guidelines, achieving established objectives of the unit
- cultivates a culture in accordance with the Flynn Applebee's Premier Card of core values and beliefs
- ensures immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints to self and staff
- ensures guest contact as a priority with completion of required table visits
- maintains departmental inventory levels
- ensures product preparation and presentation meet company standards by performing line checks
- effectively schedules employees to meet sales demands
- maintains effective safety and security programs
- promotes and leads restaurant cleanliness and sanitation
- performs routine maintenance and reports needed repairs
- promotes quality recruitment and referrals of potential team members and management candidates
- promotes Flynn Applebee's training procedures for new managers
- helps maintain a trained staff through orientation and training sessions
- participates in employee development using one-on-one and performance documentation
- assesses employee efficiency and provides regular feedback
- monitors acceptable employee performance and documents situations requiring disciplinary action
- assures compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines
- controls cost in assigned department
- complies with local, state, and federal laws
- drives food and liquor inventories and ensures completion
- prepares and submits accurate daily paperwork
- assures sanitation standards meet or exceed Health Department standards
- provides a role model for managers and employees
- develops self on all store related technology
- assists in all positions including cooking, expo, seating guests, bartending
- uses Management Development Program for leadership growth
