Job Requirements
- At least two to three years of restaurant management experience
- Ability to work various shifts including weekends
- Ability to stand and exert mobility for up to ten hours
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to read and write for communication
- Finger and hand dexterity for using tools and equipment
- Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol certifications a plus

- Proven leadership and team management abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations

- Capability to train and develop staff

Job Duties
- Ensure timely, friendly service according to company guidelines
- Cultivate a culture in accordance with Flynn Applebee's core values
- Respond immediately and correct all verbal guest complaints
- Prioritize guest contact with required table visits
- Maintain departmental inventory levels
- Ensure product preparation and presentation meet company standards
- Schedule employees effectively to meet sales demands
- Maintain safety and security programs
- Promote and lead restaurant cleanliness and sanitation
- Perform routine maintenance and report needed repairs
- Promote recruitment and referral of potential team members
- Implement and promote training procedures for new managers
- Maintain a trained staff through orientation, training sessions, and meetings
- Develop employees through one-on-one coaching and performance documentation
- Assess employee efficiency and provide regular feedback
- Monitor employee performance and document disciplinary actions
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Control costs in assigned department
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Drive food and liquor inventories as required
- Prepare and submit accurate daily paperwork
- Assure sanitation standards meet or exceed health department requirements
- Provide a role model for managers and employees
- Develop skills on store-related technology
- Work in all positions including cooking, expo, seating, and bartending when needed
- Use the Management Development Program for leadership growth
