Job Duties

  • Assist the General Manager with hiring, training, managing, supervising, directing, and developing team members
  • Demonstrate a fair, firm, fun leadership approach and lead by example
  • Assist with managing profit and loss statements to exceed financial targets
  • Resolve employee concerns swiftly and thoughtfully
  • Celebrate team successes and coach for better performance
  • Set clear expectations and provide continuous feedback
  • Create a positive, upbeat atmosphere during shifts that makes work enjoyable
  • Help employees understand the big picture and their roles by sharing the 'why' behind tasks
  • Use performance metrics to evaluate and improve Drive-In operations
  • Maintain and enforce SONIC safety and sanitation standards
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations
