Job Description

Job Requirements
- Ability to work various shifts including weekends
- ability to stand and exert mobility for up to 10 hours
- ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to read and write to facilitate communication
- finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment
Job Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol certifications a plus
Job Duties
- Ensures timely, friendly service according to company guidelines, achieving established objectives of the unit
- cultivates a culture in accordance with Flynn Applebee's core values
- ensures immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints
- ensures guest contact as a priority with required table visits
- maintains departmental inventory levels
- ensures product preparation and presentation meet company standards
- effectively schedules employees to meet sales demands
- maintains effective safety and security programs
- promotes restaurant organization, cleanliness, and sanitation
- performs routine maintenance and reports needed repairs
- promotes quality recruitment and referrals of potential team members and management candidates
- implements training procedures for new managers
- helps maintain a trained staff through orientation, training sessions, and employee meetings
- participates in employee development and completes written evaluations
- assesses employee efficiency and provides feedback
- monitors acceptable employee performance and documents disciplinary actions
- assures compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- controls cost in assigned department
- ensures compliance with local, state, and federal laws
- drives bi-weekly/weekly food and liquor inventories
- prepares and submits accurate daily paperwork
- assures sanitation standards meet or exceed Health Department standards
- provides a role model for managers and employees
- develops self on all store related technology
- willing and able to work in all positions and assist team members as needed
- uses Management Development Program for leadership growth
