Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
minimum 2-3 years experience in restaurant management
ability to work various shifts including weekends
capable of standing and moving for up to 10 hours
able to lift up to 50 pounds safely
strong communication skills
willingness to work in multiple restaurant roles as needed
knowledge of food safety regulations is beneficial

Job Qualifications

At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol certifications a plus
excellent leadership and communication skills
strong problem-solving abilities
ability to manage and motivate teams
knowledge of restaurant operations and safety standards
ability to handle stressful situations effectively
experience in employee training and development

Job Duties

Ensures timely friendly service according to company guidelines
cultivates a culture in accordance with Flynn Applebee's core values
responds promptly and corrects guest complaints
prioritizes guest contact with required table visits
maintains departmental inventory levels
ensures product preparation and presentation meet standards
schedules employees to meet sales demands
maintains safety and security programs
promotes cleanliness and sanitation
reports maintenance needs
recruits and refers potential team members and managers
implements training procedures for new managers
supports employee training and development
conducts employee performance evaluations
provides feedback and supports employee growth
enforces company policies
controls departmental costs
complies with local state and federal laws
performs food and liquor inventories
prepares and submits accurate daily paperwork
assures sanitation standards meet health requirements
serves as a role model for staff
develops skills in store related technology
works in all positions and assists as needed
uses Management Development Program for leadership growth
