Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some college preferred
- Minimum one year leadership experience in a Burger King restaurant or similar setting
- English language proficiency
- Proficient math skills
- Completion or willingness to complete required internal certifications including Guest Service Expert (GSE), Basic Management Training (BMT), Serve Safe Essentials, Anti-Harassment Training, HR Legal Compliance Training within 60 days
- Ability to work long, irregular, and extra shifts
- Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred some college education
- Minimum one year of leadership experience in a restaurant or retail/hospitality environment
- Demonstrated excellent performance standards
- Proficient in English for clear speech, reading, and comprehension
- Basic math skills
- Completion or willingness to complete internal certifications such as Guest Service Expert (GSE), Basic Management Training (BMT), Serve Safe Essentials, Anti-Harassment Training, and HR Legal Compliance Training
- Ability to supervise and coach employees effectively
- Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
Job Duties
- Leads operations excellence by directing efficient preparation and sale of products for timely customer delivery
- Provides production direction to crew and sets example by working hard to ensure swift and smooth production
- Identifies and resolves bottlenecks in food preparation and equipment issues to increase speed of service
- Motivates and directs crew and Shift Supervisors to exceed customer expectations with food and friendly service
- Handles customer feedback and complaints professionally and promptly
- Supervises and trains crew members and Shift Supervisors on BKC products, processes, and policies
- Assists in recruiting, selecting, and retaining effective crew talent
- Applies financial control procedures including cash management, inventory, and labor scheduling
- Maintains compliance with government regulations, employment laws, food safety, and company policies
- Ensures cleanliness, sanitation, and security standards are met
- Takes initiative to address safety and compliance issues promptly and educates crew on loss control procedures
- Supports restaurant management in achieving profitability and operational excellence across shifts
