Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol certifications preferred
- Ability to work various shifts including weekends
- Ability to stand and move for up to 10 hours
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to work in various restaurant roles as needed

Job Duties
- Ensure timely, friendly service according to company guidelines, achieving established objectives of the unit
- Cultivate a culture in accordance with Flynn Applebee's Premier Card core values and beliefs
- Ensure immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints to self and staff
- Ensure guest contact as a priority with completion of required table visits
- Maintain departmental inventory levels
- Ensure product preparation and presentation uncompromisingly meet company standards by performing line checks
- Effectively schedule employees to meet sales demands
- Maintain effective safety and security programs
- Promote and lead restaurant organization, cleanliness and sanitation
- Perform routine maintenance and report needed repairs
- Promote quality recruitment and referrals of potential team members and management candidates
- Promote Flynn Applebee's training procedures for new managers
- Help maintain a trained staff through orientation, training sessions, meetings and implementation of policies
- Participate in development of employees through feedback and performance documentation
- Assess employee efficiency and provide fair feedback regularly
- Monitor employee performance and document actions requiring discipline
- Assure compliance with company policies and local, state and federal laws
- Control costs in assigned department
- Drive food and liquor inventories as requested
- Prepare and submit accurate daily paperwork
- Assure sanitation standards meet or exceed Health Department and company standards
- Provide role model for managers and employees
- Develop expertise in store-related technology
- Work in all restaurant positions as needed including cooking, bartending and seating guests
- Use Management Development Program for growth of leadership skills and proficiencies
