Job Description
This job opportunity is with a restaurant that operates under the Jason's Deli brand but is independently owned and managed by a franchisee. Unlike corporate positions directly under Jason's Deli Corporate, this role is governed and managed by the independent franchisee. This means that all employment-related decisions, including hiring, firing, wages, working hours, supervision, and scheduling, are handled by the franchise owner. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
- adherence to health and safety regulations
- reliable and punctual
- ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Job Qualifications
- previous experience in food preparation or restaurant service preferred
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- basic math skills for handling cash and inventory
- customer service experience is a plus
Job Duties
- prepare and serve food according to menu and quality standards
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining area
