Job Requirements
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
- 1+ years experience as Shift Leader or 1 year as Assistant Manager for internal promotion
- 3+ years experience as Assistant Manager with P&L responsibility for external recruit
- must be 100% certified in all workstations
- must complete Assistant Manager training
- ServSafe certified
- must be at least 18 years old
- ability to speak, read, and write English
- excellent interpersonal skills
- basic math skills
- proven analytical and planning skills
- self-starter
- working knowledge of computers
- valid driver’s license and insurance
- ability to use personal vehicle for work-related travel and bank deposits
- ability to stand and walk 85-95% of shift
- ability to lift 10-65 lbs

Job Qualifications

- associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- minimum of 1+ years experience as Shift Leader or 1 year experience as Assistant Manager in a customer service environment for internal promotions
- minimum of 3 years experience as Assistant Manager with some P&L responsibility for external recruits
- must be 100% certified in all workstations
- must complete Assistant Manager training classes
- ServSafe certified
- ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
- excellent interpersonal skills
- ability to perform and understand basic math concepts
- proven analytical skills
- good organization and planning skills

- working knowledge of personal computers and related software applications

Job Duties
- Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
- monitor staffing levels to ensure sufficient development and talent
- ensure training on workstations is fully implemented and adhered to by management and team members
- identify and develop internal candidates for management and Team Leader positions
- work with restaurant team to execute 'My Promise to You' and the Service Profit Chain
- create a friendly, fun, clean, and safe restaurant environment
- treat all employees with care and respect
- motivate and inspire employees to achieve high performance while adhering to company procedures
- recognize and reward employees appropriately
- understand and use JIB systems, processes, and tools
- comply with all state and federal labor laws and regulations
- manage daily activities to achieve excellence in restaurant operational performance
- train employees and hold restaurant team accountable for excellent guest service and food quality
- monitor adherence to JIB systems, procedures, and food safety requirements
- review and modify practices to improve guest experience
- maintain visibility and interaction with guests
- respond to guest concerns and complaints professionally and timely
- maintain a positive brand image ensuring consistent food quality, guest service, and cleanliness and maintenance
- serve as a role model for excellent guest service
- partner with Restaurant Manager to analyze restaurant operational and financial performance
- identify trends and consult on action plans for improvement
- use data to analyze business results
- contact regional and CSC resources as needed
- develop and execute action plans to increase restaurant sales and profitability
- consider cost/benefit impact of financial decisions and protect the JIB brand
- monitor costs and adherence to budget and restaurant goals
