Job Duties
- Ensure all menu items are made to recipe and presented attractively
- Utilize proper serving guidelines and carryover procedures
- Forecast food production and implement the Food Production system
- Follow opening and closing procedures including cooler stripping
- Receive and store products correctly to ensure quality
- Assist in ensuring guest satisfaction and increasing guest count and sales
- Run shifts in the absence of General Manager or Kitchen Manager
- Create a hassle-free convenience environment for dining or carry-out
- Ensure catering and take-out guidelines are followed
- Focus staff on guest experience and lead by example with warm greetings
- Handle guest complaints to satisfaction
- Maintain Health Department and company sanitation standards
- Obtain and maintain ServSafe certification
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation inside and outside the restaurant
- Maintain equipment in proper working condition
- Follow Company Safety Program and OSHA standards
- React calmly and effectively in emergency situations
- Complete all daily paperwork related to shifts
- Follow company cash control guidelines
- Improve restaurant operations using Shopper's Report feedback
- Participate in physical inventory processes
- Comply with corporate, government, and insurance reporting
- Forecast sales accurately and communicate information
- Monitor Food Cost, Labor Cost, and Operational Expenses
- Assist in recruiting staff to meet manpower needs
- Comply with employee-related laws and company regulations
- Maintain employee records and timely reporting
- Manage staff morale and motivation using effective management techniques
- Participate in training new hires and catering staff
- Attend weekly management meetings and provide input on employee performance reviews
- Support disciplinary procedures and complete termination reports timely
- Conduct exit interviews
- Promote personal conduct supporting company ethics and guest focus
