Job Requirements
- At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- ability to work various shifts including weekends
- ability to stand and move for up to 10 hours
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
- effective communication skills including reading and writing
- finger and hand dexterity for small tools and equipment
- willingness to work in different restaurant positions
Job Qualifications
- Restaurant management experience
- Serve Safe Food certification preferred
- Serve Safe Alcohol certification preferred

Job Duties
- Ensures timely, friendly service according to company guidelines, achieving established objectives of the unit
- cultivates a culture in accordance with Flynn Applebee's core values and beliefs
- ensures immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints
- ensures guest contact with completion of required table visits
- maintains departmental inventory levels
- ensures product preparation and presentation meet company standards by performing line checks
- effectively schedules employees to meet sales demands
- maintains effective safety and security programs
- promotes and leads restaurant organization, cleanliness and sanitation
- performs routine maintenance and reports needed repairs
- promotes quality recruitment and referrals of potential team members and management candidates
- promotes Flynn Applebee's training procedures for new managers
- helps maintain a trained staff through employment orientation and training sessions
- participates in employee development using one-on-one meetings and performance documentation
- assesses employee efficiency and provides regular feedback
- monitors employee performance and documents disciplinary situations
- assures compliance with company policies and regulations
- controls costs in assigned department
- complies with local, state and federal laws and guidelines
- drives bi-weekly/weekly food and liquor inventories
- prepares and submits accurate daily paperwork
- assures sanitation standards meet or exceed Health Department and Flynn Applebee's standards
- provides a role model for managers and employees
- develops self on all store-related technology
- willing and able to work in all positions as needed
- uses the Management Development Program for continuous leadership growth
