Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2-3 years of restaurant management experience
- Ability to work various shifts including weekends
- Ability to stand and move for up to ten hours
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
- Effective communication skills including reading and writing
- Manual dexterity for using small tools and equipment
- Willingness to work in multiple restaurant positions as needed
- Commitment to uphold company policies and standards
Job Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol Certifications are a plus
Job Duties
- Ensures timely friendly service according to company guidelines
- Cultivates a culture in accordance with Flynn Applebee's core values and beliefs
- Ensures immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints
- Ensures guest contact with required table visits
- Maintains departmental inventory levels
- Ensures product preparation and presentation meet company standards
- Effectively schedules employees to meet sales demands
- Maintains effective safety and security programs
- Promotes restaurant organization cleanliness and sanitation
- Performs routine maintenance and reports needed repairs
- Promotes quality recruitment and referrals of potential team candidates
- Leads training procedures for new managers
- Maintains a trained staff through orientation and training sessions
- Participates in employee development using performance documentation
- Assesses employee efficiency and provides fair feedback
- Monitors acceptable employee performance and documents disciplinary actions
- Assures compliance with company policies and procedures
- Controls costs in assigned department
- Ensures compliance with local state and federal laws
- Drives food and liquor inventories and is accountable for completion
- Prepares and submits accurate daily paperwork
- Ensures sanitation standards meet health department and company standards
- Provides role model behavior for managers and employees
- Develops self on all store related technology
- Works in all positions as needed including cooking and bartending
- Uses Management Development Program for leadership growth
