Job Requirements
- Ability to work various shifts including weekends
- ability to stand and exert mobility for up to 10 hours
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
- ability to read and write for communication
- finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment
Job Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years of restaurant management experience
- Serve Safe Food certification is a plus
- Serve Safe Alcohol certification is a plus
Job Duties
- Ensure timely and friendly service according to company guidelines
- cultivate a culture aligned with Flynn Applebee's core values
- respond immediately to guest complaints
- prioritize guest contact by completing required table visits
- maintain departmental inventory levels
- ensure product preparation and presentation meet company standards
- schedule employees effectively to meet sales demands
- maintain safety and security programs
- promote restaurant cleanliness and sanitation
- perform routine maintenance and report needed repairs
- recruit and refer potential team members and management candidates
- implement Flynn Applebee's training procedures for new managers
- maintain trained staff via orientation and training sessions
- develop employees through one-on-one interactions and performance documentation
- assess employee efficiency and provide regular feedback
- monitor employee performance and document disciplinary actions
- ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- control costs in the assigned department
- comply with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
- conduct food and liquor inventories as requested
- prepare and submit accurate daily paperwork
- assure sanitation standards
- provide a role model for staff
- develop skills in store-related technology
- be willing to work all positions including line cooking, expo, seating, and bartending
- utilize Management Development Program for leadership growth
