Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in multifamily property maintenance or related field
- HVAC certification
- Ability to lift and carry over 75 lbs occasionally and 1-25 lbs regularly
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including on-call
- Reliable transportation
- Excellent communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in multifamily property maintenance, facilities management, or a related field
- HVAC certification required
- CPO certification preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including participation in an on-call rotation
Job Duties
- Complete resident work orders promptly, ensuring quality service and adherence to the 24- and 48-hour guarantees where applicable
- Perform maintenance and repairs, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, appliances, and exterior structures
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to keep equipment, tools, and common areas in top condition
- Assist the Maintenance Manager in daily operations
- Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by completing repairs, cleaning, and ensuring all features are in working order per Total Quality Make Ready program
- Work independently while following company standards, demonstrating attention to detail, and maintaining a commitment to resident satisfaction
- Provide emergency and on-call maintenance support as needed
- Support the team with other duties as needed to maintain resident satisfaction and property standards
