Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a supervisory role within a kitchen or food service environment
  • knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • ability to train and manage beneficiaries
  • strong communication and leadership skills
  • availability to work full time
  • reliable and responsible work ethic

  • Experience in kitchen supervision or food service management
  • familiarity with health department regulations and safety standards
  • ability to train and mentor individuals
  • experience in inventory and menu management

Job Duties

  • Train beneficiaries on kitchen safety and compliance protocols
  • supervise daily work therapy performance including cooking and cleaning
  • provide regular feedback and direction to beneficiaries
  • ensure compliance with health department policies
  • create and update menus using cycle menu management system
  • maximize use of donated goods
  • maintain kitchen and canteen inventories
  • generate timely orders based on stock cost and needs
  • source and coordinate food donations
  • monitor canteen sales and card tracking
  • maintain kitchen log communications
  • execute health department policies
  • prepare for regular inspections
  • coordinate with kitchen supervisor on all operations
