Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ServSafe and Allergen training certifications
- ability to supervise beneficiaries
- basic computer skills
- strong math skills
- ability to lift up to 15 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds
- willingness to work in warm and humid kitchen environment
- ability to stand and walk regularly
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ServSafe and Allergen training certifications
- preferred kitchen management experience
- supervisory skills including overseeing and training
- computer proficiency for inventory and communications
- strong mathematical abilities for measurements and portions
- problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- excellent organizational skills
Job Duties
- Train beneficiaries on kitchen safety and compliance protocols
- supervise daily work therapy performance including cooking and cleaning
- provide regular feedback and direction to beneficiaries
- ensure compliance with Health Department policies
- create and update menus using cycle menu management system
- maximize use of donated goods
- maintain kitchen and canteen inventories
- generate timely orders based on stock cost and needs
- source and coordinate food donations
- monitor canteen sales and card tracking
- maintain kitchen log communications
- execute Health Department policies
- prepare for regular inspections
- coordinate with Kitchen Supervisor on all operations
