Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
  • Understanding of food safety regulations
  • Must be able to follow established recipes and procedures
  • Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in kitchen management or similar leadership role
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Passion for made from scratch food
  • Familiarity with inventory management and waste reduction techniques

Job Duties

  • Supervises and oversees the production of food
  • In conjunction with all management, enforces compliance with all employment policies in area of responsibility
  • Monitors tickets and sets the pace during peak hours
  • Manages through "hands on" supervision of the restaurant
  • Conducts formal line taste and temp checks
  • Ensures proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
  • At the direction of Kitchen Manager, manages inventory and tracks waste
