Job Requirements

  • Washington State Food and Beverage Worker’s Permit
  • School Nutrition Association Certification
  • criminal justice fingerprint clearance upon hire
  • ability to work 5 hours per day Monday to Friday
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • compliance with school nutrition policies
  • physical ability to perform kitchen duties

Job Qualifications

  • School Nutrition Association Certification
  • Washington State Food and Beverage Worker’s Permit
  • experience in food service management preferred
  • familiarity with food safety regulations
  • ability to supervise a team effectively
  • strong organizational skills
  • excellent communication abilities

Job Duties

  • Assist the Kitchen Manager in overseeing daily kitchen operations
  • supervise food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards
  • manage kitchen staff and provide training
  • maintain inventory and order supplies
  • uphold sanitation and cleanliness protocols
  • assist in menu planning and meal quality oversight
  • maintain accurate records of food service activities
